Sequantial Sampling

The 2-channel PicoScope 4224, 4226, 4227, 4262 and the 4-channel PicoScope 4424 are high-resolution oscilloscopes that are suitable for general, scientific and field-service use. With 12-bit resolution (adjustable up to 16 bits in enhanced resolution mode) (16-bit up to 20-bi for the PS-4262) and 1% accuracy they also make an excellent choice for noise, vibration and mechanical analysis.

Measure everything from small signals to large voltages

The PicoScope 4000 Series have input ranges from ±50 mV to ±100 V (20V for the 4226, 4227, and 4262 models) full-scale so you can measure small signals from sensors as well as higher voltages from power supply circuits and motor drives.

The convenience and speed you need

Your PicoScope 4000 Series scope is powered from the USB 2.0 interface, so there’s no need for you to carry an external power supply or batteries with you. The USB port also delivers high-speed data to your PC to give you a responsive, high-resolution display. With up to 250 MS/s real-time sampling, the 4000 Series are the fastest USB-powered 12-bit scopes around.

Deep memory without compromising performance

Thanks to the advanced 32 megasample buffer which is ‘always on’, there is never a compromise between buffer size and performance. The PicoScope 4000 Series always maximizes both the buffer size and display update rate at the same time. Now you can capture every detail of every waveform without compromising the performance of your scope.

Additional Functionality

Only need 2 channels but want additional functionality from your unit? The PS4226 and PS4227 units boast up to 100MHz bandwidth on two channels, but also give you an additional external trigger as well as function generator/arbitrary waveform generator capabilities. Want to quickly insert a waveform into your circuit and measure it on the output of your circuit? With the AWG you can design your own waveform and measure it extremely accurately thanks to the scopes 12 bits of resolution.  The PS-4262 has a built-in low-distortion generator for precision testing.

Your complete software package

The PicoScope 4000 series are supplied with PicoScope oscilloscope software. PicoScope is your complete test and measurement lab in one easy-to-use application. As well as a fully-functioning oscilloscope with advanced features such as digital persistence, math functions and automated measurements, PicoScope software allows you to use your PicoScope as a spectrum analyzer. PicoScope is free to use on as many PCs as you like, it’s regularly updated with new feature and enhancements, and you can always download the latest version from the Pico website. We know that you may want to write your own software or use a third party application to control your PicoScope oscilloscope. No problem. We also provide a free software development kit that contains various software drivers and example code, and we’ve got 32 and 64-bit drivers for Linux users.

Your powerful high-resolution oscilloscope

With both 2 and 4-channel versions, up to 100 MHz analogue bandwidth, 250 MS/s real-time sampling, 12-16 bits resolution, 1% accuracy and a wide input range, a PicoScope 4000 Series USB scope is the powerful high-resolution oscilloscope that will fulfill your needs.

An IEPE oscilloscope that you can afford

Normally if you want to use IEPE sensors you either need to buy an expensive oscilloscope with an IEPE interface, or an equally expensive add-on module. Not anymore. Our PicoScope 4224 IEPE is at a price you can afford, and features an integrated IEPE interface making it compatible with industry-standard IEPE accelerometers and microphones.
